Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, Yoga Instructor, Musician, and Founder of Toronto Birth Doula.
Leah began working as a professional doula in 2014, and has since worked in hundred of homes in Toronto and abroad. She is passionate about improving women’s healthcare experiences and offering peaceful beginnings to babies. Her personal interests include yoga, paddle boarding, singing in choir, and spending time with her baby niece.
Leah trained in Tennessee at The Farm Midwifery Canter as a Midwife Center, with instructors Deborah Flowers and Pamela Hunt. Having this training as a Midwife Assistant in addition to a Certification as a Childbirth Educator gives Leah a greater overall understanding of birth, from both physiological and pathological aspects.
